- Confirm the router has mains power.
- Check the power connector at both ends.
- Wait five minutes and search again.
- Power off for 60 seconds, then restart once.
Follow the numbered labels on the equipment. Do not force plugs, coil powered cables tightly or place the terminal behind glass.
Place the terminal outdoors on stable ground or the supplied stand. It needs a broad view of the sky. Move away from buildings, trees, poles, cliff faces and overhanging roofs.
Run the supplied cable from the outdoor terminal to the router/power unit. Check the connector orientation, push it fully home and leave a loose drip loop before the cable enters a building.
Plug the router/power unit into mains power. The terminal may move or take several minutes to find service. Do not keep repositioning it while it starts.
Allow up to 15 minutes for the first connection after transport.
Use the Wi-Fi name and password printed on the label inside the case. Connect one phone first, confirm internet access, then add other devices.
Position the router centrally and in the open. Do not bury it inside the case, behind metal equipment or under furniture.
Open a normal website or make a short video call. Speed tests can vary and are not the only measure of whether the connection is usable. Satellite service can change with obstructions, weather, congestion and the number of connected devices.
Disconnect mains power first. Let wet outdoor parts drain and wipe them dry. Use the packing diagram in the lid, account for every numbered item and never shut the case on a cable.
Contact support with the booking reference, a photo of the terminal position, a photo of the cable connections and a short description of what the device is doing.
